Medical Negligence Defense
Mr. Louvier is the managing partner of Evans, Craven, & Lackie. He was born and raised in Maple Valley, Washington. He attended college at Washington State University (B.A., Political Science, 2004, cum laude) and the Gonzaga University School of Law (J.D., 2007). Mr. Louvier worked at Evans, Craven & Lackie as a legal intern during law school and immediately began work as an associate attorney after admission to the Washington State Bar Association. He became a partner of the firm in 2014.
Mr. Louvier was elected by his peers as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, an 2020. A “Rising Star” designation is an honor bestowed upon no more than 2.5 percent of eligible lawyers in the State of Washington.
Mr. Louvier defends professionals against liability claims and licensing complaints including physicians, mid-levels, nurses, dentists, lawyers, accountants, and others. He likewise defends individuals, corporations and government entities from a wide variety of civil claims involving tort and commercial liability. Mr. Louvier provides advice to institutional clients on employment issues and represents injured persons in meritorious bodily injury claims.
Mr. Louvier has tried many civil cases to jury verdict. He has argued successfully before the Supreme Court of Washington, Idaho Supreme Court, Washington State Court of Appeals and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Louvier is licensed to practice in the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, the State of Idaho, the United States District Court of Idaho, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Away from the office, Mr. Louvier enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and their three children: Theo, Genevieve, and Louella. He likewise enjoys watching sports, cycling, and playing golf.
